Svengali Syrah is a labor of love. A highly finessed barrel aging program results in a smooth, decadent wine. The unsung hero (varietally speaking), Syrah has the structure of a great cabernet and bright fruit of a zinfandel, swirled into one and embellished with meatiness and texture.
Presents a beautiful fuchsia color with aromatics of rhubarb, vanilla, raspberry, hickory, and iron-scented minerality. The palate yields the gifts of thin, rocky soil: rich blackberry, chocolate, white pepper, espresso. Poised tannins.
