The new vintage of VML Gewürztraminer is very dry and extremely delicious. True to its nature, the Gewürztraminer has a lovely bouquet of floral notes. The nose is full of jasmine, honeysuckle and honeydew. On the palate flavors of pineapple, key lime and tangerine zest mingle together. The wine finishes dry with a crisp acidity.
Aromas of limestone, passion fruit and elderflower mingle in the glass. The palate is met with intense tropical flavors melded perfectly with bright citrus notes. Flavors of Kiwi, honey dew, grapefruit, ginger and lime dominate the palate. A crisp acidity leads to a clean, refreshing finish.

High notes of hibiscus, candied watermelon and strawberry come across on the nose. Contrasting aromas of orange peel and bergamot spice combine together beautifully. The palate is juicy and crisp and redolent of strawberries and cream and sweet alpine strawberries. Lingering acidity carriers through the finish. This will be a favorite this summer!
This wine is bursting with aromas of lavender, sandalwood, dried cranberry and cocoa. The palate starts with ripe blackberry, plum and black cherry. Vanilla and dark chocolate flavors lead into high notes of raspberry. The wine has focused acidity, balanced tannins and a smooth finish that will continue to soften over time.
Collaborating with Iron Horse Vineyards, the VML Blanc De Noir is comprised of 74% Pinot Noir and 26% Chardonnay. Crafted in a brut style, the VML Sparkling wine has aromas of dried apricots, pie crust with hints if elderflower and almond. Tangerine zest, golden raspberry, and white peach coat the palate. Finishes dry.
Virginia handcrafts three beautiful barrel select pinot noirs- Earth, Moon, Stars- creatively designed to showcase the spectrum of flavors found in the Russian River Valley and exemplifies her talent as a winemaker.
Stars is delicate, velvety, rich and layered. We are wild about this wine!! Aromas of sweet flowers like violets and lavender greet the nose. These quickly give way to more fruit qualities such as black cherry, hazelnut and ripe plum. The finish is reminiscent of dried and crushed rosebud, sandalwood, spice and finishes incredibly long.
Complex aromas of mocha, sweet anise, candied licorice and white pepper burst through the glass. Blackberry compote, vanilla and ripe plum aromas lead way to similar characteristics on the palate. The palate picks up depth and finishes with cherry-cola, sarsaparilla, raspberry and black cherry. Silky texture coats the mouth through the long finish.
A blend of fruit from our own Grist Vineyard and other great sites, one in the eastern hills and another on the valley floor. The wine is comprised of 66.3% Zinfandel, 19.3% Petite Sirah, 14.4% Syrah and is aged in French oak for 10 months. Intricate aromas of blueberries, ripe plum, crushed blackberries, acai, nicotiana and licorice mingle together in the glass. The palate follows the nose with more blueberry, chocolate, sassafras, clove and smoked paprika. A supple wine with soft tannins.
From the warm valley's of Dry Creek, comes the 2012 Bradford Mountain Zinfandel. Everything we love about Dry Creek Valley fruit comes to life in this wine. Blackberry and spice leap from the glass with a concentrated palate of raspberry. An exceptionally powerful wine and so well balanced the final impression is in elegance. The finish bursts with rich flavors of blackberry and ripe boysenberry with hints of white pepper and sweet tobacco.
The Grist Vineyard sits atop Bradford Mountain in Dry Creek Valley at about 1100 feet above the valley floor. With full, even sun coverage, this vineyard produces a Zinfandel that showcases a great depth of flavor with a slightly lighter body. The 2012 Grist Zinfandel is right on par with flavors of blackberry compote, lavender, dried cranberries and a hint of spice.
El Grandote means the big one - and this wine is certainly big and bold. This wine is made of 100% Zinfandel grapes from our Grist Vineyard and is fortified with brandy to come up with a traditional Port-style wine. The nose is reminiscent of ripe plum, cassis and Marashino Cherries. On the palate you are met with more sweet cherry flavors, Huckleberries, truffle and chocolate.
