VML 2014 Gewurztraminer

The new vintage of VML Gewürztraminer is very dry and extremely delicious. True to its nature, the Gewürztraminer has a lovely bouquet of floral notes. The nose is full of jasmine, honeysuckle and honeydew. On the palate flavors of pineapple, key lime and tangerine zest mingle together. The wine finishes dry with a crisp acidity. 


VML 2012 Blanc de Noir Sparkling Wine

The 2012 VML Blanc de Noir Sparkling wine is done in Brut style and is comprised of 81% Pinot Noir and 19% Chardonnay. With aromas of nectarine and brioche on the nose, notes of apricot tart, raspberry and crisp apple tantalize the palate. This sparkling wine finishes with a crisp acidity and hints of pie crust. Pairs perfectly with lunch, brunch, dinner and the stroke of midnight!


VML 2014 Rosé of Pinot Noir

High notes of hibiscus, candied watermelon and strawberry come across on the nose. Contrasting aromas of orange peel and bergamot spice combine together beautifully. The palate is juicy and crisp and redolent of strawberries and cream and sweet alpine strawberries. Lingering acidity carriers through the finish. This will be a favorite this summer! 


VML 2014 Sauvignon Blanc

**New vintage available in Spring 2016**

Aromas of limestone, passion fruit and elderflower mingle in the glass. The palate is met with intense tropical flavors melded perfectly with bright citrus notes. Flavors of Kiwi, honey dew, grapefruit, ginger and lime dominate the palate. A crisp acidity leads to a clean, refreshing finish. 


Best of Class and 97 points from the Press Democrat North Coast Wine Competition. Press Democrat tasting notes: Cinnamon & clove and all things nice.

VML 2013 Russian River Chardonnay

A distinct Russian River Chardonnay with layers of citrus, spice and floral notes. The nose opens up with Mandarin blossoms, Bartlett pear, Fuji apple. At second sniff the aromatics take on a new life expressing toasted pine nuts, floral hints such as jasmine, gardenia and geranium.  The palate is round and juicy with hints of Marcona almonds, creamy lemon custard, baked pear and vanilla. The finish is long and refreshing.  


VML 2013 Pinot Noir - Limited Release Russian River Valley

This wine is bursting with aromas of lavender, sandalwood, dried cranberry and cocoa. The palate starts with ripe blackberry, plum and black cherry. Vanilla and dark chocolate flavors lead into high notes of raspberry. The wine has focused acidity, balanced tannins and a smooth finish that will continue to soften over time.

These wines are hand-crafted from small vineyards in Russian River Valley. Most of them are under 200 cases and will be available for a very limited time! 

VML 2013 Ivywood Vineyard Chardonnay

Aromas of honeysuckle, orange blossom and hints of nuttiness fill your senses. Stone fruit such as white peach combine with lemon rind to complement the wonderful acidity on this wine. Flavors of baked pear and honey crisp apple are followed by a long mineral finish. 185 cases produced. 

Cellaring: Aged in 100% French Oak for 9 months. 20% New Oak, 40% Once Used, 40% Neutral Oak.



VML 2013 Knowlton Vineyard Chardonnay

Lifted bouquet of white rose, pineapple and a subtle note of banana nut bread mingle together in the glass. Rich flavors of crème brulee, lemon curd and lemon meringue dominate the palate. Creamy and tropical notes of coconut and pineapple are countered by wet stone. The mouthfeel is rich and the finish lingers. 155 cases produced. 

Cellaring: Aged in 100% French Oak for 9 months. 35% New Oak, 30% Once Used, 35% Neutral Oak.


VML 2013 Walker Station Chardonnay

Candied orange peel, vanilla, baking spice and cinnamon direct the nose. On the palate rich, bold flavors of brioche and nutmeg spice are supported by subtle oak spices. Toasted marshmallows and baking spice give way to a creamy texture. 144 cases produced. 
Cellaring: Aged in 100% French oak for 9 months. 40% New Oak, 10% Once Used, 50% Neutral Oak


VML 2013 Swicegood Vineyard Pinot Noir

Aromas of spicy cedar and earthy mushrooms are counter-balanced with hints of blueberry and redcurrants. The palate is remarkably bright with fresh pomegranate, golden raspberry, fresh blueberries and lively acidity. 139 cases produced. 


VML 2013 San Remo Vineyard Pinot Noir

**San Remo Pinot Noir is now allocated to the February 2016 Wine Club Shipment**


The San Remo Vineyard is across the street from Floodgate Vineyard. Located on Trenton-Healdsburg Road and River Road in the northern, inland part of the Russian River Valley the vineyard sits on a hillside. The wine displays aromas of baking spice, red currant, cinnamon, and cassis on the nose. On the palate this wine is reminiscent of raspberry ganache and dark cherries. 225 cases produced.

Virginia handcrafts three beautiful barrel select pinot noirs- Earth, Moon, Stars- creatively designed to showcase the spectrum of flavors found in the Russian River Valley and exemplifies her talent as a winemaker.

VML 2013 Stars Pinot Noir

Tones of blackberry bramble, eucalyptus, spice introduce the wine. The nose continues to develop with plum, juniper, cassis and white floral notes. Flavors of alpine strawberry, candied raspberry, slight lavender combine in the mouth. The acid and tannins are well balanced and provide the backbone of this wine. Dark cherry, chocolate and a velvety texture tantalize and linger on the palate. 

Would pair beautifully with Cocoa-crusted Lamb or Beef Tenderloin with a reduction sauce. 


Bradford Mountain Wines - Dry Creek Valley

Bradford Mountain 2012 Red Field Blend

A blend of fruit from our own Grist Vineyard and other great sites, one in the eastern hills and another on the valley floor. The wine is comprised of 66.3% Zinfandel, 19.3% Petite Sirah, 14.4% Syrah and is aged in French oak for 10 months. Intricate aromas of blueberries, ripe plum, crushed blackberries, acai, nicotiana and licorice mingle together in the glass. The palate follows the nose with more blueberry, chocolate, sassafras, clove and smoked paprika. A supple wine with soft tannins.   


Bradford Mountain 2013 Grist Zinfandel

At the Grist Vineyard, the rocks and thin layer of soil are dark red-orange in color. Vine roots have to work hard to fracture their way through the rocks to look for bits of soil and nutrients. It's a tough life for the vines, but it adds character to the fruit and the wine it produces. Our Grist Vineyard Zinfandel compiles notes of blackberry, lavender and ripe plum and finishes with soft tannins complimented by flavors of dried cranberry. 


Bradford Mountain 2013 Grist Syrah

Delicate aromas of rose petal and cranberry meet the nose. The bouquet moves to heaver notes such as baking spices, vanilla, black pepper and a hint of bring. The palate has tart fruit, cocoa nibs and velvety chocolate. With nice lively acidity and tannins that hold the fruit up beautifully. This wine will age well for 5-7 years. 


El Grandote - Dessert Wine

El Grandote means the big one - and this wine is certainly big and bold. This wine is made of 100% Zinfandel grapes from our Grist Vineyard and is fortified with brandy to come up with a traditional Port-style wine. The nose is reminiscent of ripe plum, cassis and Maraschino cherries. On the palate you are met with more sweet cherry flavors, huckleberries, truffle and chocolate.
