Our harmonious and polished Cresta Ridge Pinot Noir comes from a single vineyard farmed by master vineyard manager Ulises Valdez. The vineyard lies in the Green Valley sub-appellation of western Sonoma County, where fog drifts across coveted Gold Ridge soil. Good soil drainage means the vines struggle a bit, but the result can be pure grace.
Highly romantic and floral. Soft tannins dance across the entire palate, held in check by the piquancy of pepper and bright red fruit. Perfumed yellow rose petal looms over violet, mushroom and cedar. Huckleberry and ripe alpine strawberry mellow to cherry, with delicate acidity carrying through the finish.
